I Had 389 Ribbons from one Colbert game yesterday alone which is nearly half, basically, of the 975 needed to complete the mission. Colbert, Friesland, Austin, Smolensk, and so on are great ways to max out your cruiser ribbons. Ribbons in cruisers or destroyers, play Worcester, Cleveland, Kitikaze, Harugomo, or any ship that spams that you have. Spotting torpedoes? Play German DDs with Hydro and make sure you're just a little ahead of your team. The point is, pick the right ship for the task and do it in a mode you can get it done. It wasnt really fun but it got the job done. I played Konigsberg in Co-Op because I faced a lot of Omahas that I could broadside. For the Puerto Rico grind there was a mission that needed a ton of citadels. If you're having a hard time in Randoms doing this, do it in Co-Op by pushing forward quickly and getting directly on the broadside on the enemy. Some American ships like Des Moines also do this well. Its really that simply and applies to all ship classes and matches.Ī mission to get a bunch of citadels? German Carriers or Russian cruisers/battleships work great. French, German, and some American ships fit the bill. Play ships with strong secondaries that you've spec-ed into. Co-Op might mean fewer hits per match but more matches in a gaming session. You can do this in Co-Op or random, where ever you'll get the best results. Most missions overlap with a few that don't which are class-specific.Īs an example, the battleship mission isn't just main battery hits, it counts secondary hits as well. If you think its going to be difficult to achieve some tasks, make sure you're doing it correctly to make the most out of the missions. So, I'm one of the guys that pretty much ground out Puerto Rico.
